My name is Satanika Lowe, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical. My academic career reflects a strong commitment to teaching, research, and the development of educational resources within higher education.

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from The Open University of Sri Lanka, after which I began my professional academic career as a Lecturer at CINEC Campus, Sri Lanka, where I served from 2019 to 2022. In this role, I was responsible for delivering lectures, guiding undergraduate students, and contributing to curriculum-related academic activities.

During this period, I also worked as a Visiting Author for course material development at The Open University of Sri Lanka, where I contributed to the preparation of academic course materials used in distance learning programmes. This experience enabled me to develop expertise in academic writing, instructional design, and the preparation of structured learning resources.

In 2022, I commenced my Master’s degree at Queen's University Belfast, United Kingdom, where I further strengthened my academic and research competencies. My postgraduate studies provided advanced training in research methodologies and deepened my interest in scholarly inquiry.

Building upon these experiences, I began my PhD studies in 2024, focusing on electromagnetic compatibility. My research aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in this field through rigorous academic investigation and innovative approaches.

Through my experience in higher education teaching, academic authorship, and research, I have developed a strong commitment to scholarly excellence. I aspire to continue contributing to academia through impactful research, high-quality teaching, and international academic collaboration.
