Reverberation Chamber at OVGU

Bio DC01

Ioannis Margaritis is Doctoral Candidate, DC01, for MSCA NEPIT at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science from the University of Twente. He will carry out research on effective aperture of openings of systems in reverberant environments. The objective is to develop new models and simulation methods for the electromagnetic coupling into and out of complex, distributed systems considering the stochastic behaviour of EM fields in (semi-)reverberant environments. . The Doctoral Candidate is expected to increase knowledge, and develop widely accepted models to be used by industry to estimate the risk of EMI, which can be embedded in current EM tools as applied within industry.

He obtained his master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens in 2021. He also holds master’s degree in Physics and Technological Applications from the National Technical University of Athens in 2025. He also has a year of industry experience, working as a Software Engineer in EU Horizon 2020 projects.
